TJ is a PGA Master Professional in Teaching and Coaching. He is the recipient of the 2022 & 2023 Illinois PGA Professional Development Award. He has been voted on the Golf Digest Best Young Teachers List since 2019 through 2026. He is also on the Golf Digest Best Teachers in Illinois List. A five time Illinois PGA Teacher of the Year Nominee and has taught over 30,000 lessons in 17 years with GOLFTEC. He also is a Coastal Carolina University PGM Alumni.

Alex has worked in golf for over 20 years and played for nearly 30 years. Experience in multiple facets of the industry (including teaching, fitting, caddying, and club building) has given him a well rounded knowledge of the golf swing. He has a deep passion for teaching the game, hitting pure shots, and crafting customized golf clubs. 2023 GOLFTEC Rookie Coach of the Year.

Tim grew up playing golf in Orland Park from his father. He received a degree from UIC in Industrial Engineering but his love of the game drew him back to golf. Golf club building became a passion and his entrance into the golf industry. His passion and love of the game drives him to learn as much as possible and apply it to his coaching. 2024 taught over 2200 helping his students progress in their games. Early 2025 earned US Kids certification level 1 and 2. He also earned ADM (American Development Model) credentials to help develop youth golfers.

He attended college at North Dakota State University receiving his degree in Sport Management before moving to Chicago. This is when he developed a deep passion for working in the golf industry and began building custom golf clubs for 5 years. Watching students work towards and achieve their goals is what drives his coaching profession.

Mike’s introduction to golf started when his father bought him his first set of golf clubs at the age of 14. He spent many days in his youth bonding with his family through the game of golf and building new friendships on the course. While enjoying golf as a hobby, Mike went on to graduate from the Illinois State University with a bachelor’s degree in the arts. It wasn’t until after college that his passion for golf became a career. While working in the golf industry for several years, Mike developed a love for educating students on the game of golf and helping to develop their skills. This passion for golf instruction and sharing the joy of the game with his students, is what brough Mike to GOLFTEC.
